it doesn't help the same way simply because the biomechanics of each lift are different, the bar is in a different angle and so on.

however i could see the benefits of not using the belt from time to time, as many strength and even powerlifting gurus advise you to, though for maxing out i don't see any reason to avoid it as long as you perform the lift correctly and through a full range of motion.
It has nothing to do with bio mechanics, the abdominal pressure is increasing due to the use of a belt. thats all. if you are training for field or track sports, you better learn to lift heavy weights (or how you called them, Max Efforts) without the belt. That's why we are not allowed to use a belt until we can lift 405 without it.

If Nadavmoore trains for a powerlifting competition, then yea, use a belt. every session.
